Life as we know it…

without comments

…is amazing.

It has been a while since I actually put my thoughts down. I just finished looking through old files with my website archives — and I really miss doing this. It was a great way to utilize my creativity and de-stress. I don’t have a big web connection like I used to nearly 6 years ago, but those who still tap into my web life, here’s a few updates.

SCHOOL. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in May 2009. It was one of the most rewarded feelings ever. I’m sure I posted it on here around that time but I like to clear out my server so much (sigh) lol.

WORK. If you knew me since senior year of high school, 2004-2005… I was working at a clothing retail store. Up until about a month ago, I started my new job as an administrative assistant at an import company. It was a great change and I’m glad I took the job. So, hooray for being a full time working girl! LOL.

FRIENDS. I had the typical ups and downs with friends. You know, losing some, keeping some. I don’t think my life would’ve been as good as it has been since 2006 without Mary Grace, Lucy, and a few others. Those two girls have definitely been there despite my emo-ness, tantrums, and unconventional ideas.

LOVE. I’m guessing the last time I put my love life on blast was in 2005. I dated, hated, and dreamt of the ones I was involved with, desired to be involved with. Whatever. I’ve been with Daniel since May 2006 and he’s been holding on to this bumpy ride and I definitely love him for it. Trust me, I’m not the ideal girlfriend, however, he’s the kind of guy any and every girl would bring home to their parents. He really is a remarkable man and I am truly blessed to call him mine.

PROGRESSION. No, not a “be green” person, although, if I can remember, I try to think about the environment. For progression, I think I’ve become a better person from the bitter person I used to be. I see things for what they are; I call things like I see them; and I try to be open minded to new, and possibly better ideas, situations, and people. I JUST finished watching GRETA, a movie produced by Hilary Duff and I think her attitude progression connects to how I’ve developed as a person.

Hopefully, it won’t be months until I put my thoughts down. I guess I could try doing it every Sunday since this is my day to relax from a 40 hour work week, 10 hour gym week, and stuff. Until then, toodles!

Too lost, too weary to fight.

You and me girl we gotta get away, cuz nothing’s gonna change until we get somewhere
Get in my car and we’ll drive all night, as long as were together it’ll be alright

So come on baby take my hand, and hold up steady when you shoot your gun
This town can burn and fall apart, I don’t even care, baby we can run tonight
